Employment & Skills Development

Summary: St George PLC will provide employment and opportunities for skills development in Greater London & West Midlands.

Further Details:

St George PLC operates as a development company for residential and commercial properties. The Company manages commercial elements of mixed-use schemes, as well as offers services in areas of commercial accommodation, including shops, restaurants, offices, and fitness clubs.

We’re operating several different exciting projects in London and the Midlands, with trade-related and office-based opportunities across all business departments.  Both within our project management offices working with Berkeley staff, as well as with selected sub-contractors onsite.

We offer a mixture of work experience placements from town planning, customer services and sales, to marketing and trades.   Work experience is paid or unpaid depending on where you work.  For example, Berkeley’s (internal) work experience placements will be paid.

For onsite work experience, you’ll need to age 18 or above.  We may ask for a CSCS card for site-based roles but if you don’t have one, we’ll help obtain a card.

Ever thought about becoming an apprentice?  We offer Level 2 to 3 apprenticeships on projects across Birmingham (City Centre) and Greater London boroughs, including Ealing, Brent, Wandsworth, Sutton, Camden, and Tower Hamlets.

Other support provided:

  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Access to Buddy / mentor support.
