Groundwork is a charity that works with local communities and residents to improve their wellbeing.
As part of this work we run the Green Doctor initiative to help manage energy in the home and are offering care leavers who live in the West Midlands access to free, impartial advice and guidance on how to reduce energy costs in the home, understand and better use heating systems and ensure that the best tariffs are being used.
We can also provide and install free energy saving measures in homes including; LED light bulbs, radiator reflector panels, draughtproofing, blankets, water saving shower heads and more.
There are also workshops and training sessions available on a number of topics including; reading and understanding energy bills, reducing energy costs and how to access help with energy and water debt.
