1 Step Beyond is a care service organisation that places great value on how it supports local communities and how values its employees and partners. To support care leavers we want to provide access to a range of training, apprenticeship and employment opportunities within the business.
We will offer subject to minimum entry criteria being met offer guaranteed interviews to applicants who are care leavers. Apprentices who are recruited will receive full training, a wage of circa £6.40 p/h and other benefits and support such as an Employee assistance programme and access to a fully equipped work space with a desktop computer and free internet.
We can also offer work experience and placement in the business to provide an insight into working in our company and within the sector. We can assist with the completion of online training, arrange shadow shifts (work experience) and help individuals to participate in additional face to face training as identified and organize participation in work activities in order to be assessed.
